Works with teens and adults

PASSION POINT: Finding the calm through the storm

I enjoy working with teens and adults mainly but have worked with many different ages. I have provided therapy support in psychiatric hospitals, correctional facilities, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient settings. I seek to incorporate client-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches to therapy. I have experience helping with issues such as suicidal ideation, trauma, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and long-term mental health illnesses. I understand how difficult life can be at times and I feel that success is an option when going through difficult times and overcoming life’s many obstacles. It is possible to feel valued, cared for, and have an active voice within therapy and life. I look to create that environment within the therapeutic setting. Together, with the client, a positive treatment plan will be made to navigate therapy and get the client back to a more fulfilled quality of life. I feel honored to be a part of that journey to success and mental well-being.

My Philosophy

Becoming your therapist involves reaching you through undivided attention, full support, and providing an environment in which you feel safe. I believe therapy is a team sport and I look to support you as a member of your team.  Therapy is a multi-faceted entity involving working conversation, spiritual exploration, relationship building, and many other aspects of life. I will listen to your needs and wants to better grasp in what way therapy will be successful for you and your growth.
