Kate Bellingar, MA, LPC, NCC

Works with Clients 5 Years Old through Adults

PASSION POINT: Helping clients build resilience and self-compassion

I encourage clients to explore both their past and present in order to better understand how patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving make sense in the context of their experiences. By collaborating with clients, I help them to identify their strengths and build new skills and insights for managing life’s stressors. I also incorporate mindfulness and movement practices and/or play therapy based on client need and interest.

My Philosophy

I believe in each person’s potential for growth and innate ability to recover from adversity. I believe that change happens within a collaborative relationship in which clients feel understood, supported, and challenged. I use warmth, authenticity, and humor to build a trusting space for clients to reflect and grow.
