Works with Clients 18 Years Old through Adults
I think that the purpose of psychotherapy is to have our four dimensions (physical, emotional, mental and spiritual) be in sync. It seems that we spend much of our energy working on our outsides through diet and exercise, but we then forget that we need to also work on our insides also as this can hold us back from making those outside changes. I don’t think that psychotherapy needs to be a long process for individuals to make these inside changes. I truly believe that all people have the ability to change!
I have over 25 years of work in the behavioral healthcare field, working in inpatient, residential, outpatient, and community settings. I work with people both individually and in group settings, with much of my work being with people affected by addictions and mental health issues. I enjoy helping people move through the stages of change with active listening and developing ongoing tools for recovery. I’m excited to be a part of the Man Project HERE.
MY PHILOSOPHY
As your therapist, I will work with you at your pace pushing you if needed and guiding your through those difficult times. I want our time together to be enjoyable, but also valuable that you will feel that you are moving towards your desired goal. I will be honest with you and explore by asking those difficult questions to help you get through any emotional blocks. This will help me get to know you better and in turn, help you uncover your strengths needed to be your best you.
