Carmen is a compassionate and experienced therapist with a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling and is certified by the state of Wisconsin as a Licensed Professional Counselor in training. Carmen is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for clients to explore their feelings, thoughts and relationships.

Clinical Interventions

Carmen employs an integrative approach to therapy drawing from evidenced-based modalities including, but not limited to: Client Centered Therapy, CBT, Behavioral Activation, Dialectical Behavioral Skills, Mindfulness, Trauma Focused CBT, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Motivation Interviewing. Carmen tailors the clinical approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals, including Spiritually Integrated Interventions when requested. Carmen also provides services to people ages 5 and up in individual, family sessions, and/or group sessions.

Individual Approach

In your sessions with Carmen, you can expect a laid-back, non-judgmental approach that allows for the client to be their own expert on their experiences. The idea is that we work as a team to consider all aspects of your mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, and social self to create customized goals to ensure well rounded positive growth and well-being.
