Michelle is a compassionate and experienced therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical/Community Psychology and is certified by the state of Wisconsin as a Psychologist. Michelle is dedicated to creating a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for clients to explore their feelings, thoughts and relationships.
Clinical Interventions
Michelle employs an integrative approach to therapy drawing from evidenced-based modalities including, but not limited to: CBT, Behavioral Activation, Prolonged Exposure, Dialectical Behavioral Skills, Mindfulness, Neuropsychological Assessments, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Motivation Interviewing. Michelle tailors the clinical approach to meet each client’s unique needs and goals, including Spiritually Integrated Interventions when requested. Michelle also provides services to people in individual, couples, family sessions, and/or group sessions.
Individual Approach
In your sessions with Dr. Schoenleber, you will set collaborative goals and learn new skills for addressing symptoms; much of therapy also happens at home – you will practice these skills in your daily life and review progress each session. Most treatments are time-limited (3 to 6 months). Dr. Schoenleber also provides psychological and neuropsychological testing services (e.g., ADHD/learning disorders assessments). You can expect test results within 2 weeks of your final session, with all reports including diagnostic outcomes and recommendations for treatment/daily life.
