2022 Ethics in Action Honors Event Recipients

BROWN COUNTY NONPROFIT FOUNDATIONS HEALTH & WHOLENESS HONORS THREE PEOPLE AT ETHICS IN ACTION HONORS EVENT

Green Bay, WI (October 25, 2022) –Foundations Health & Wholeness, a Brown County-based mental health nonprofit, announced its 2022 Ethics in Action Award recipients at its annual Ethics in Action Honors Event on October 20, 2022, at Lambeau Field:

 

  • Rick Brunner, for his self-less work making toys and supporting children both in Brown County and Ukraine, among other places;
  • Rhonda Chandler, for her impactful work celebrating and giving a voice to black and brown girls and founding the organization Lovin The Skin You’re In;
  • Justis Tenpenny, for challenging the status quo to create a just and inclusive community for people who identify as LGBTQ+.

 

The Ethics in Action Honors event is an annual event, and community members are encouraged to nominate people who are creating healthier workplaces schools, and neighborhoods. Nominations are accepted year-round and the nomination form and frequently asked questions can be found at https://wearefoundations.org/ethics-in-action/award-nominations/.

The event, which was made possible by Founding Sponsor, the George Kress Foundation, Presenting Sponsors, Associated Bank and Jones Sign, and other generous sponsors, raised over $134,000 to support mental health care for children, teens, adults, and families in financial need.
