Recently, Foundations Health & Wholeness partnered with the Bay Area Workforce Development Board and Youth Advisory Council to host special event called BREAKING THE STIGMA, which featured a screening of the moving stories of young adults who have since aged out of foster care. We’re grateful to the young people who courageously shared their experiences of being teens in foster care!

BREAKING THE STIGMA was truly something powerful, helping to raise awareness about the particular need for foster parents to welcome foster teens into their homes and engage the community with the foster care system. Thank you to the Green Bay Gazette for covering the BREAKING THE STIGMA event HERE, as well as local news station Fox 11 placing a spotlight on the event HERE.
